How we report performance
- Every performance figure on this site comes from a complete backtest and is labelled as a backtest.
- No figure is modelled, extrapolated or cherry-picked from different runs. Every backtest runs with the broker’s real spread and overnight swaps, and in the LFP Console every trading style is its own independent backtest.
- Settings were chosen on 2020–2023 data only; data from 2024 onward was held back purely for testing, and the pass rule was written before the result was seen.
- Results of the LFP live account, which runs the same expert advisor, are published through Myfxbook and FXBlue, which read the data directly from the broker.
- Buyers’ results differ from the LFP live account because of broker costs and execution quality, and we don’t hide that difference.
